What data we keep and why
Orbit is an unofficial fan project. This is what is kept about you, where and for how long.
Your account
Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. They are handled by Supabase, which hosts the database in the European Union. They are not used for anything other than identifying you.
What you write
Conversations, plans, notes, memory, pasted reports and empire snapshots are private by default. Other users can see only what you explicitly publish in a shared space. The context you send to the commander is also sent to OpenAI to generate a reply.
The AI provider
When you send a query, its text and the context that comes with it travel to OpenAI to generate the response. They are not asked to keep it for training. Do not send anything there that you would not want to share.
Reports imported by code
If you import a report with its game API code (sr-… or cr-…), Orbit sends that code to ogapi.faw-kes.de, a community service that returns the report data from the official OGame API. A compact copy is stored in your private reports. If you would rather not use it, paste the report text instead: it never leaves Orbit.
Game data
The rankings, players and planets come from the official public OGame API and are the same for everyone. Nothing private from any game account is stored and credentials are never requested.
Observed activity
The radar shows when a player’s points or ships changed, which is public information. It is not proof that someone is online or offline, and it must not be presented as such.
Access, copy and deletion
You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and associated data through the Contact form. We verify that the request is yours; there is currently no automatic export or account-deletion button.
The hourly detail of the universe history is kept for 30 days; after that only the totals remain. The usage log is kept so that spending can be reviewed.
Unofficial fan project. OGame is a registered trademark of Gameforge, which neither takes part in nor endorses this project. Nothing here automates actions inside the game.
